Awesome representative

I could not be happier with the decision my family and I made having Jay represent me in court. He was professional, kept me informed, and I was very comfortable with him. My case went on for two and a half years and Jay was patient and up front with me. He never hid anything and was very upfront wit...h me of the possible outcomes . Overall, the case ended the way we had hoped -with a not guilty- and I don't think that would have been achieved without Jay!

Very professional, honest, trustworthy, and calming

After getting arrested for a second DUI/OUI, I didn't know what to do, I was so scared of what the outcome for this could end up being. My nerves were all over the place and I was afraid of being sent to jail. Which is one of the things they tell you may happen after you receive your first DUI/OUI. ...I looked on this website and trusted my gut. James looked like a confident, nice and, trusting person. After meeting with him I knew he was the perfect person to help me through this nightmare. During our first meeting he was honest, told me exactly what to expect, and assured me not to worry. Throughout the year long process of trials, James was very professional and was always accessible whenever I felt nervous. Also, his paralegal Karen was very informative and understanding, which was a huge help as well. When my trial date finally arrived my mind was all over the place. My boyfriend tried to calm me down but it was James's confidence that helped the most. We decided to have a trial by jury, which was very scary. The outcome was NOT GUILTY! After hearing the jury I cried and gave James a hug of appreciation. I couldn't believe it was over, finally. I don't think I could've done it without the help of James and I am so grateful for his knowledge, understanding, and help. James's pricing for helping was alot but it was not unreasonable, considering this is my life on the line. Thank you so much.

Review of Jay Milligan

Over two years ago, Jay Millligan took on my case. It was an OUI Roadblock case, and Jay explored every avenue possible before going to trial. While those did not come to fruition, he was professional throughout and was impressed with his knowledge. About 23 months after the incident, I final...ly went to trial (this was my 2nd OUI, so it was important to fight it) Jay advised me throughout and kept me calm. He was always one step ahead of the DA and we achieved a most favorable outcome. I am now driving with no additional record. While it was not easy, and I probably spent 14 days in the court house, I am happy with the outcome and Jay's work.

Best of the best

In January, I was charged with an OUI after being Out with my boss and co-workers and lost control And totaled my car when trying to avoid a collision With an oncoming vehicle. No other vehicles were Involved but I sustained injuries. I have 2 other OUIs. One was 24 and one was 18 years ago in o...ther states. Mr. Milligan and Mr. Higgins were able to negotiate a very Very favorable outcome and get charges reduced substantially. They responded to all my questions ANGST and represented Me in court in the best way possible. They are both very professional, Very thorough and know the law. I would recommend them To anyone needing a DUI/OUI attorney.

Extremely Impressive Performance by Jay Milligan... Do No Second Guess Deciding on Him

I have only positive things to say about the Law Offices of James Milligan. I was arrested and charged with DUI, I was very upset and worried about the whole situation. Jay Milligan was recommended to me as "the top attorney" in this area so I immediately contacted him. His associate met with me with...in a day or two after the incident and was extremely professional, calm and knowledgeable. I immediately knew I was in good hands. Throughout the process, Jay was always responsive whenever I called or emailed. I even called him the night before my trial in the evening because of a concern I had and he not only picked up my call, but greeted me by name. When my trial date came, he was right by my side. He told me what was going to happen and what to do. Jay is a competent and professional attorney who helped me through a difficult time. He is an excellent example of professionalism and a master of his craft. The outcome of my situation was the best possible scenario imaginable due to Jay's immense knowledge of the law, and how to use the system to assist his clients.
