About me

I am a trial lawyer who has had twenty years of experience advising and representing individuals, businesses and non-profit organizations in a broad range of legal matters.  My particular areas of concentration are business/contract disputes,  landlord/tenant issues, consumer protection claims (including predatory lending claims),  and employment matters. Possessing strong community ties and a commitment to justice for everyone in the community, I devote a significant portion of my practice to pro bono housing and homelessness-prevention work.   Committed to the needs of all my clients, I utilize state-of-the-art technology and cost-effective methods to provide the highest quality services in a responsive, client-oriented manner.

In addition to serving my clients, I have participated in several educational forums in collaboration with the Southeastern Housing Court to train lawyers conncerning landlord/tenant matters.   To educate the community concerning housing matters, I regularly present a landlord training seminar for prospective landlords through Pro-Home, Inc. in Taunton and I am in the process of developing a 3-part intensive landlord training program in collaboration with Self Help Inc. in Brockton.

I have enjoyed serving my community as a member of both the Steering Committee for the Brockton Tenancy Preservation Project and the Greater Attleboro-Taunton Homelessness Coalition, a past board member of both the Orpheum Regional Performing Arts Center in Foxboro and the Walpole Footlighters, and a “host mother” for a several foreign exchange students.  I currently direct a 15 member gospel choir, lead music at retreats and conferences, and perform with several community theater groups.

I am married to Paul Sangree and enjoy being  "Mom" to our teenage daughter, Anna, and her flock of friends.
