I began my legal practice representing prisoners on death row in Texas in post-conviction proceedings in the state and federal courts. I continued in criminal practice for over ten years, and then changed course. I started my own business, in catering, and began to focus on the sales and marketing aspects of the business. I then became a consultant for other businesses, including food companies and law firms. My experience in advocacy, entrepreneurship, and consulting enable me to provide practical advice to my clients, entrepreneurs and business owners in the food industry.
