Cathleen has extensive experience in civil litigation. Cathleen has argued hundreds of motions in court, and has tried many cases to successful verdicts. She also has argued before the Massachusetts Court of Appeals and the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts. Since 2009, Cathleen has been primarily focusing her practice in the area of domestic relations, and has hundreds of clients in divorce, custody, child support, adoptions and visitation matters. She also serves as a Guardian ad Litem doing custody evaluations to help families resolve difficult family law matters. She was recently named a 2013 and 2014 Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine for her work in family law, as well as one of the Top Women Attorneys in Massachusetts in 2013 and 2014.
Cathleen is an active member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, Boston Bar Association, Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, The Greater Boston Family Law American Inn of Court, the AFCC, Massachusetts Association of Guardians Ad Litem and the Justinian Law Society.
Cathleen is also a qualified estate planner and bankruptcy attorney, focusing on Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy protections for her clients. Cathleen is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and before the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts. She also holds a broker's license in Massachusetts, and owns and operates LKC Realty, LLC along with her business partner Breanna Lungo-Koehn.
