Outstanding Warrant

Practice Area: Speeding and traffic ticket

Outcome: Case Dismissed.

Description: Client was charged in 1994 with driving on a suspended license. For the next 16 years there was an open warrant out for his arrest, of which he was unaware. The underlying charge which resulted in the suspension was a motor vehicle homicide. The client had moved out of the state and was unable to travel to Massachusetts to appear on the open warrant. Attorney Bace appeared on his behalf and argued that the case ought to be dismissed with the payment of the court costs. Defendant did not have to physically appear.
