Honest legal specialist with integrity.

Our mid 20’s year old daughter had no prior history with the law, no prior arrests, no criminal charges or record. She was arrested January 2018, imprisoned, not allowed a phone call and charged with three (3) domestic violence crimes. One charge had a potential conviction prison term of 1-5 years.... The charges were false allegations. I was contacted by her court appointed attorney after my daughter had spent three days in Framingham State prison. She was released at arraignment on personal recognizance. While we were relieved without bail, it did not seem to align with the arrest charges being brought. There was one additional pre-trial hearing with no progress and nothing reported. The public defender appeared competent but was so busy she had to reschedule three (3) office appointments my daughter had scheduled to discuss her case. The next hearing scheduled at the end of April was some four (4) months after being charged. After three (3) months we were unable to meet with her court appointed attorney, not understanding the defense strategy nor knowing what her attorney and the prosecutor had or had not discuss. My daughter thought it best to seek out a highly regarded, extensive criminal defense experience with good outcome results private law firm. After research and receiving recommendations from other attorneys we decided to review the case with and interview the Yannetti Criminal Defense Law Firm. I first spoke with Attorney Greg Johnson at the firm by phone. He asked very specific material questions to provide a case overview, history and some background. He was professional, engaging and action oriented. Greg had the office staff schedule an initial meeting. We met with Attorney David Yannetti on Monday after our first office call on Friday. David answered all of our questions, provided a detailed process road map, initial defense strategy, courses of action ahead and how he would begin representing our daughter. I was impressed as David cited a number of case law examples that were relevant to the specific charges during this first meeting. Greg would represent our daughter at the pretrial hearing as David was previously scheduled for a trial. David would appear with my daughter thereafter and through trial. After our meeting with David, my daughter decided we should hire the firm. She made a good choice that we supported. A few weeks later Greg met our daughter at court. He had a number of conversations with our daughter and the prosecutor prior to the hearing. Greg seemed to be familiar and on good terms with all the court employees. On court date one (1) being represented by David and Greg the charges were dropped and the case was dismissed/disposed. We are grateful for this best and unexpected outcome. The long 4 months of worry and stress was lifted from ours family’s shoulders. The Yannetti Criminal Defense firm was always reachable to answer our questions, returned all communications promptly, and initiated communications with updates and reminders. They are well experienced in criminal law and were skilled legal representatives for us. We had an exceptional experience with the Yannetti Criminal Law Firm. Sequel: Some 9 days later, the complainant self-files yet a new unfounded Order of Protection. Our daughter had not communicated nor seen the plaintiff for some 5 months. David represented my daughter at this new re-filing preliminary hearing. In short order David had this new groundless case dismissed.

Excellent and outstanding lawyer

The first day I met David, I felt comfortable with him and I was at ease and when I was not supposed to be calm, he made me remain calm, despite what I was facing, a charge of aggravated assault and battery which was not true at all. He promised to do the best he could to defend me in a criminal cas...e against me and he kept his promise and he did defend me and the case was dismissed in record time. Even though the case went to trial, the case was dismissed, which was the ultimate goal and what I wanted. He said he wouldn't give me a 100% assurance because any lawyer who tells me this is lying to me but he would do his best and work tirelessly to defend me and defend me he did and I am grateful to him and his firm for all their work. I also want to thank him too for his kindness because he was a brother and a friend too when I needed one, despite the fact that he was my lawyer. His advice was clear enough and he knows how to give one. Do not be afraid to hire him and his firm because they fought for me and he will also fight for you because for David, it is not about the money. He puts in his best and all his efforts to help his client and that is what one should look out for in a lawyer. He is quick to respond back to you when you leave a message for him and always gives you his listening ears and brings you in on all his plans and strategies, so you are not left behind wondering what is next or what is going on. He knows his job and he does it well. He is an excellent criminal defense lawyer and one of the best out there for anyone to hire. David, again I thank you for your help and assistance when I needed help.

David is a fantastic criminal defense attorney

I'm embarrassed to say that I've had to use David's services twice in the last three years or so. Both times, though, David Yannetti has done a phenomenal job and obtained a great outcome. I've witnessed the large growth of David's practice over the past few years, due undoubtedly to his great reputa...tion and fantastic reviews from clients. Despite this expansion, David is committed and available to every client. He stayed in touch with me during every phase of the proceedings, consulted with me on strategy and timing, and seriously considered how I felt and what I had to say. Equally important, David's attitude was totally nonjudgmental, and I felt that he was a strong advocate for me. In the past case he handled for me, I was totally factually innocent and a police officer falsely arrested me for assault and battery (I believe because I threatened to file a complaint against him). The police officer claimed that I had "chestbumped" him and charged me with felony assault on a police officer. I always had the impression that David totally believed me. David has a great reputation not only among his clients, but also among judges, clerks, and ADAs. This was apparent to me in every interaction and in motion hearings. I think one reason David obtains such good results for his clients is that judges, clerks, and ADAs all trust him. Moreover, David seems to have a reputation for winning that encourages ADAs to settle cases on favorable terms. I probably have a unique insight since I am a law student at a prestigious law school in the Boston area. Correspondingly, I had a lot to lose, including a job offer and admission to the bar - something that David recognized and factored into his strategy. Although David has years of experience over me, I do argue and appear regularly in court, representing indigent clients in civil proceedings. As an advocate myself, I recognize the qualities in David that make him a fantastic lawyer: empathy, reputation, intelligence, persuasiveness, articulateness, and diligence (among others). I only add, in terms of pricing, that I found David's fees to be very reasonable, especially in light of the amount of work he did on my case, and the number of hearings he attended. He's probably not the cheapest attorney (although again, from comparison shopping for a lawyer I believe his rates are very competitive), but there's certainly truth to the saying, at least in his case, that you get what you pay for.
