Kevin Fulcher has built a successful domestic relations law practice in Wrentham, Massachusetts. As a solo practitioner, Fulcher handles every aspect of each client’s case and has the opportunity to personally interact with each client he represents. Although he works primarily on divorce, custody, and adoption cases, Fulcher’s legal knowledge extends to real estate transactions, estate planning, criminal defense and landlord/tenant litigation.
Attorney Fulcher is well known in the Norfolk Country probate court. In addition to representing his clients, Fulcher participates in the pro-bono “Lawyer for a Day” program at the Norfolk County Probate and Family court. As a volunteer attorney, Fulcher provides legal advice to individuals and families who are in court without their own representation. Fulcher has a history of community service; he has been a hotline crisis counselor at the Samaritan’s volunteer center.
Fulcher’s interest in family law stems from the time he spent working with underprivileged and disadvantaged urban youth. He interned at the Youth Advocacy Project in Roxbury and also served as a student public defender in the Boston Juvenile Court.
Prior to earning his J.D. from Suffolk University School of Law, Fulcher worked in publishing as an indexer for Macmillan in Indianapolis. Fulcher left Macmillan – and his Colts season tickets – to move to Boston, where he founded his own indexing company that specialized in computer guides and professional texts.
At Suffolk Law, Fulcher received the Jurisprudence Award in Fiduciary Relations, was awarded Honors for his performance at the Juvenile Justice Clinic and was selected to aide Public Administrator for the Commonwealth, Professor Charles Rounds, Jr.
When he is not advocating for his clients in court, researching Massachusetts’s case law or networking at legal conferences and seminars, Fulcher enjoys spending time with his three children and their German pointer rescue, Tank. During the summer, he can often be found on his father’s commercial fishing boat in the waters off Montauk, contemplating early retirement.
