Needing an attorney is typically not a pleasant experience...sort of like going to the dentist. Despite the circumstances that led me to seek out legal help a little over a year ago, I truly can't say enough good things about Attorney Ray Dinsmore. I needed help when I discovered that a house which my ex-partner and I had owned was very near foreclosure. I had been mistakenly advised that my name was no longer attached to the house. I found myself on the verge of having my credit ruined and possibly needing to file bankruptcy even though all of my other finances were in good standing. Needless to say, I was panicked. I met with Ray and he helped me come up with a plan. He had a firm grasp of the situation and was clearly knowledgable about what needed to be done which I found very comforting. Ray took on my case. Little did I know that this would turn into a year-long debacle of ups and downs. He remained steadfast even when it seemed like the situation was hopeless. He hung in there even when I was ready to give up. I was kept informed of every new piece of information and Ray let me know when there were things that I could do myself so that I didn't accumulate exorbitant legal fees. I'm happy to report that because of Attorney Ray Dinsmore I was able to get this issue successfully resolved and I've been able to move on with my life. If you're looking for an attorney who is knowledgeable, skilled, and will get the job done, contact Attorney Raymond Disnmore.

We hired Attorney Ray Dinsmore for an issue with our previous landlord who was unethically and, as we found out, illegally taking money out of our security deposit.
We felt helpless, unsure of the law, and worried that our case wouldn't hold up, or that it would cost too much. We were so lucky to find Ray!
He was prompt in getting back to us, and updated us throughout our case. He was friendly and encouraged us to call him by his first name, which put us at ease. Ray is extraordinarily knowledgeable about tenancy law, which is a rarity (mainly because it's not lucrative;Real Estate law is not the same thing), and researched what he didn't know. He also outlined what we could and couldn't ask for; he didn't promise outlandish results, just reasonable ones.
He translated Legalese into regular English, so we knew our rights and what our plan was. Ray is not only a great communicator, but an excellent listener. We felt heard. We felt cared for. When you're in the midst of what feels unfair, it feels so good to be heard.
Ray was generous with his time, and incredibly reasonable in his fee. He didn't end up charging us for all the time he spent writing our unreasonable landlords who refused to communicate by phone. He was quietly tenacious with our requests, and dedicated. He was respectful, patient, and determined.
The fact is, Attorney Ray Dinsmore gave us hope -- not just for our case, (which we won) -- but about the legal system, in general.
I can't recommend him more.

Raymond is a wonderful lawyer. He is understanding and compassionate and you don't feel like you are being judged for your situation. He represented me in a bankruptcy and always responded to my questions. He was also extremely helpful with other legal questions I had. I can't say enough about him other then if you are looking for a good lawyer, he's your guy.

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community
I endorse Raymond Dinsmore without hesitation. Attorney Dinsmore is a conscientious and zealous advocate for the rights of employees who have been discriminated against or are owed back wages. His experience and knowledge are not only a great asset to the individuals he represents, but also to our local economy that relies on a fair and equitable workplace.

Relationship: Worked together on matter
Attorney Dinsmore is one of a handful of attorneys I consult with whenever I have questions about MA employment laws. We have worked together on a few employment cases, and I have been impressed with his commitment to being a zealous advocate for his client’s positions. He advocates for his clients even when other lawyers would have compromised or given up. His dedication to his client’s cause is unparalleled. For example, in one case, I remember him showing up and vigorously advocating for his client’s position at a mediation conference notwithstanding the fact that he was so ill that most people in his position would have stayed in bed and rescheduled the mediation. He is also one of the most ethical lawyers with whom I have co-counseled.
