About me

I am the Financial Reorganization/Bankruptcy Practice Director at Estrella, LLC, one of Puerto Rico's premier law firms. With several years of experience handling complex legal issues including, Chapter 11, 12, and 13 reorganizations and Chapter 7 liquidations (debtor, creditor, and interested parties), troubled debt restructuring and interim financial management consulting, insurance coverage, contractual disputes, general liability and federal R.I.C.O, I am highly specialized in the Reorganization/Bankruptcy forum while also maintaining successful business consulting and litigation practices.

Prior to joining the firm, I acquired significant clerking experience during tenors with United States District Court – Eastern District of Louisiana and United States Bankruptcy Court – District of Puerto Rico.   I also worked for several years at a prominent law firm in New Orleans during which time he litigated dozens of complex commercial litigation cases.  My early practice was highlighted by an appellate brief in the landmark Hurricane Katrina case Campbell v. Stone Insurance on the issue of flood insurance procurement.
