  • I've been discriminated against at my former employer due to pregnancy, what do i do now?

    Marcia’s Answer

Based on the fact pattern you described you should seek representation. If you can show that these write ups started happening shortly after taking FMLA or after you advised your employer you were pregnant you may be able to assert wrongful termination based on protected categories and public policy. You should contact an employment law firm for more assistance.

  • What can I do about this employment issue

    Marcia’s Answer

Unfortunately, unless you had a contract you probably have no recourse. And also breach of contract cases in employment matters are very difficult to enforce. You should still speak to an attorney to see if perhaps there were other claims that you could purse.

  • Am I crazy to keep a preschool in Ca.

    Marcia’s Answer

I agree with the previous attorneys. In addition to there comments, I would want to add that since your daughter will be going to school out of state this year, you should make sure you can put someone trusthworthy and reputable in charge of the day to day activities (this is assuming you decide to keep the business).
