  • Why is it unnecessary for a plaintiff to answer the defendant's counterclaim?

    Not sure what jurisdiction (state) your suit is in, but I find it hard to believe that an "answer" is not a procedural requisite for defending a counter-claim. If you are pro se and not sure, FILE AN ANSWER ANYWAY! It's better to file and not need than to need and not file.
