    The court will use calendar days. Waiting an extra period of time would be a courtesy but not necessary to the defendant.

    If the doctor puts you on light duty the employer is obligated to provide light duty unless there is none. If there is no light duty you should apply for unemployment benefits and argue that you were terminated without cause.

    Keep calling until you get an answer from your legal representative and if the lawyer ahs not done much work on your case it may be best to hire a more responsible representative.

    One must look to your divorce decree to see what was ordered. Under Section 513 of the Illinois Marriage and Dissolution of Marriage Act, each party, mother and father, each party must contribute to college education of the minor child according to their financial ability to contribute. The child is also required to contribute the best that they can.

  • A Proof of Service was filed on my behalf. What does that mean in regards to my divorce?

    Proof of service means that the court can then have jurisdiction over your person to hear the case and can hold you in default if you fail to appear in court and file your appearance.
