  • What options do i have?

    Paul’s Answer

It can be very frustrating having to jump through so many hoops to get to a common sense solution. I recommend you hire an attorney to review the file and do what needs to be done to have your concerns addressed in the proceeding. At the same time the attorney could commence a new proceeding to establish your parental rights and address custody and parenting time.

  • What do I Do?

    Paul’s Answer

This is a sad situation, and what he is doing is detrimental to the children. An attorney would need to review your divorce decree to ascertain the extent to which the Decree addresses this situation. Options potentially include taking him back to court, seeking the appointment of a guardian and litem, or requesting him to engage in mediation of the dispute. It may also be beneficial to have the children see a therapist.

  • How do I petition the court in MN for sole custody due to child endangerment and agreement violation?

    Paul’s Answer

The answer on how to proceed may differ based on the nature of the violation and the level of endangerment. Whether this is a one-time event or a regular course of conduct would also be important to know. I recommend you meet with a family law attorney and inform him or her of the evidence you have of the violation and endangerment. You can then receive advice on how to proceed.
