  • How do i get my rights back?

    Amy’s Answer

How does your dad know that he lost his right to possess a firearm? Was he denied a firearm purchase? The only methods I am aware of to "reinstate" the gun rights are to have the case re-opened and amended or changed to a different charge or re-opened and dismissed. Your best option is to contact a criminal defense attorney with more specific facts about the case. Best of luck to you.

  • Is it possible to have a possession of drug paraphernalia charge removed from your record?

    Amy’s Answer

The other attorneys correctly explain the possible legal consequences. My advice is to get yourself able to provide a clean drug screen and possibly participate in an AODA assessment. If you can provide that information to the assigned prosecutor (whether it is the District Attorney's Office or City Prosecutor) you might be able to convince them not to formally charge you. If you would like to hire an attorney to facilitate that process it is called, "early representation," Best of luck to you!
