  • Can I file adultery charges against my wife and her boyfriend they have to be up in the state of Georgia now

    Jennifer’s Answer

Whether you can file adultery charges would be up to the District attorney and/or magistrate in your area. I would not waste my time because you will not benefit from that. My suggestion is to get a divorce and move on with your life the quickest and easiest way for you.

  • Can I make my husband file for divorce while hes incarcerated?

    Jennifer’s Answer

No maam. You can file and if the filing fee is the problem you can file and ask for a hardship on the fees to try and have them waived. I would suggest hiring an attorney to file and getting him served in prison and this being done so you can move on with your life.

  • How much is an uncontested divorce

    Jennifer’s Answer

Usually with a marriage of that length a quick easy divorce is all that is needed. We can not quote prices but the average is between 500-1000 for uncontested with no children. Contact an attorney directly and they can probably get this done fairly easily

  • My son is 14 going on 15 and he wants to live with me his mom full time can he does he have that option.

    Jennifer’s Answer

A child does not get to pick where they live. That is a wise tale. As for full time, I don't understand what you are saying. As for moving, you need to look at the Parent Child Relocation Act for the requirements and what procedure it. The best option is consult a family law attorney.

  • Does the father have the right to have a step parent pick up a child from school if it is during his time?

    Jennifer’s Answer

I would say that the terms are unclear and as an attorney I could argue either way. Most courts would allow a step parent to pick up the children even if the papers don't say that if you took them back to court the court could rule in the fathers favor. Unless you have reasons that would be proven and enough to stop this, I would say that it is not an issue I would fight over. Always if you sit down with an attorney they may can read in the entity and have a better understanding.

  • Can we get custody of our granddaughter

    Jennifer’s Answer

If you believe the child is being abused or neglected you can file a petition in the juvenile court of the county the child lives in. Based on facts that are proven in court custody to yall may be an option. I would advise talking with an attorney to better determine what is best way. If nothing else you need to report the abuse.

  • How much trouble do you get in for contempt of court ?

    Jennifer’s Answer

You could be fussed at up to loosing joint custody of the minor child. Usually one of you would have final decision making authority as to education. More facts would be necessary to determine what is going on but you never want to be in contempt.
