  • What is my catregory for i-765 if i enter the border?

    Connie’s Answer

The "official" works for the government, not for you, so any advice given should be taken with a grain of salt. Especially if you entered the US without inspection, you should hire an experienced immigration attorney to discuss your options and the bets way to proceed. Do not take this lightly.

  • How soon can I re-enter the US after I've spent 12 months on a B1 visa (volunteering) if I'm from Egypt?

    Connie’s Answer

More information is needed to answer the question. How much time did you have on your I-94? How many days exactly did you spend in the US, not counting travel days? How did you support yourself? You could be barred from returning for 3 or 10 years, or not at all. This is a question that requires an attorney's analysis.

  • It is possible for a Cuban who entered the United States with a K-1 visa and didn’t get married, to apply to theCAA after 1year?

    Connie’s Answer

It depends on when you entered the country. Need more info about the dates and the K-1 visa. This is a complicated issue that, absent marriage, could prevent you from ever obtaining residency. You should speak with an experienced immigration attorney.

  • What advice can you give us on this issue ?

    Connie’s Answer

It is unlikely that the officer told you that you were approved. It is more likely that he said "if you were to be approved". Regardless of what he may have said, there is no approval until you get the actual approval notice, in writing. If approved right away, it takes about 2 weeks to get it, followed by the green card.

  • File for status in Feb 2016 how long should that take to get interview

    Connie’s Answer

We cannot answer your question. What type of status did you apply for? Under what category? Was it 2016 or 2017? What is your immigration history? How did you enter the country? If you have a receipt number you can check the status of your application on USCIS' website, where you can also check the processing times specific to your application and location.
