    See a lawyer, do not talk to police or State’s Attorney. See more than one. Get educated. Appointments are often free. Do not talk on line or social media. There may be options based on your lack of criminal record.

    Traffic cases are criminal cases, but require an attorney to help the client evaluate driving record, potential punishments from citations including fine, points and jail, and defenses. Don’t forget the need to drive or whether or not person has a commercial license.
    Some criminal attorneys do very few traffic tickets.

    Good advice from other counsel. Get an attorney to investigate situation and prepare you for potential arrest. Do not make any statements to police.

    Yes, the person has exposure to jail time in court and at MVA, the person could be suspended, revoked or require ignition interlock to drive. The person needs to see an attorney to get educated regarding his exposure to punishments and how to improve his chances for a better results in both cases.

Your speaking could violate any agreement with a prosecutor and endanger your life. See more than one attorney to get educated on such an important decision regarding risk and benefit.

    Juvenile Court and Delinquent Acts are handled differently than adult felony charges. Different punishments, goals and process. Some juvenile matters can be sent to and tries in adult court. See a lawyer now and no more statements on internet. Good luck.
