Sole custody sounds nice on paper, but the reality is that it doesn’t change anything. For example, if both parents agree or one parent acts without interference from the other, then you’ll never end up in court. If & when there is a disagreement, your having sole custody won’t stop the father from filing a petition & your having to answer it.
