So now we have a three member board of Trustees, and a Three member board of Directors and today I received a bill from the guy that voted in as treasurer who isn't a trustee and owes 5000 dollars for me fees and I was paid ahead and shouldn't have a bill yet
Odd that you have a Board of Trustees AND a Board of Directors. Generally, condos have trustees, who may or may not elect officers, such as treasurers. Corporations have directors, who also elect officers. Officers of either entity can be, but do not have to be, trustees or directors, as the case may be. Check your condo docs, and have a lawyer look into this. There is real money involved, it seems. Your legal fees shold be split between your objecting colleagues and, if you later successfully sue the existing trustees (or whatever they are) the fees would be paid from the common charges, e.g., split 12 ways. Again, get local, experienced legal help, soon.
