Worker’s compensation is money that your employer’s insurance pays you when you get hurt on the job. If you are injured at work, you will probably have medical bills and have to take time off to recover. Some injuries can result in job loss or permanent disability. Worker’s Compensation Courts decide how much the insurance company has to pay out, including part of the income loss if you are forced to change jobs.
