Avvo's Group Claim

Claim the profiles for every attorney in your firm—it's simple and free!

We are happy to help you claim Avvo profiles for every attorney in your firm. Please fill out a form letter that authorizes the release of the profiles to an individual in your firm. Often this is a senior assistant, a marketing contact, or maybe an office manager. The person to whom we release the profiles is then responsible for managing the process within your firm. You can have one person update all the profiles, or simply ask individual attorneys to fill in their own information. Once the profiles are claimed, each attorney will have a unique sign-in (his or her e-mail) and password to make updates to his or her profile whenever he or she wishes.

Avvo's group claim is simple and free

To claim the profiles for every attorney in your firm, just follow these easy steps:

1. Download and fill out the group claim authorization letter.


2. After you complete the authorization letter, print it out on your firm's letterhead and fax it to us at (206) 340-6040 or e-mail a PDF copy to customercare@avvo.com.


3. Next, simply e-mail our customer care team an Excel file with a complete listing of all the attorneys in your firm along with their work e-mail addresses and ZIP code(s).

Once we receive all of your information, we'll process the request and return a list to you with profile and account information for each of your attorneys. You'll then be able to add background information, biographical details, awards and achievements—all the information that completes an online profile and makes an attorney (and your firm) stand out online.

We recommend that you inform your attorneys of this request. Please allow up to 2 business days for us to process your request.

*The individual to whom the profiles are to be released must be an employee of the firm.
