Mortgage Company - making harrassing phone calls daily

What can I do to stop a mortgage company from calling and harrassing me daily at least 3 to 5 times a day? They are telling me I am a month behind, and I have cancled checks proving where I made up the month. And that was back in May,June and July. The best part is, this was all set up by the supervisor herself at the mortgage company. She approved the repayment plan. Because at the time I had a tenant living in the house that did not make March's payment. Can you give me some advice on what to say to stop the harrassing calls each day?

Also as I am not in the UK and can no longer work there due to my visa expiring is there any legal problems that I might encounter if a sale is made with a UK client.

Petty theft 484PC in California, Sacramento.

My question involves criminal law for the state of: California

Hi, I have been caught in Fry's today when me and my friend have took an merchandise (around $210) with separate parts. My friend stole the main part and i help him to put the small components in purse. When we try to walk out the store without paying it, we are both caught by the staff there and i think one of them are causal wear police officer. We have asked to sign some paper works and our picture IDs have been photocopied by them. They ask us to sign a form with state that we commit that we have stole the merchandise, and a letter which ask us to go to the police facility in that area district, the content is like this :

"This letter is to inform you that a report is being filed charging you with the crime of petty theft, 484 P.C. The Report will be submitted to the District Attorney's Offie for disposition. If it is determined that you will be held to answer on this charge, you will be notified by an issuance of a WARRANT for your ARREST. Upon receipt of the Notice of Warrant, immediately set a court date by appearing in person at the following police facility: (address)...."

I am 21 years old and anyone knows what are going to happen? IS that a necessary to hire attorney to help me? But i am just an international student who study in California and i may not afford the amount of the attorney...how much will it be? Will i get a record on my background? I am so afraid and so regret right now.....I hope i will not be so foolish....
how much will be the court fees etc??....

Can I get a public defender? How much will it be?
Thank you a lot!!!

Job Discrimination/Promotion

I have worked for my company for almost 2 years. I have a college degree, spent 6 years as a commissioned officer in the US military, and have over 8 years of management experience in my current role, and I came to this company from a job at a higher management level. After a year of being at my company, I was accepted into my company's internal management development program, which I have been in now, for 7 months.
We recently had two opportunities for promotion that I applied for. The first went to a black female, who had the same role on the dayshift. I was told that I didn't get the job because they wanted me to get more experience in other areas of our facility. Opportunity two went to a white male from a completely different industry, who was laid off because of downsizing. Above middle management in my company there are very few black males. The black employess working in management in my facility all had to have a college degree. There are several white employees who are younger than my peers and I who have no degree at all, in higher roles. One of them was recently promoted after one year in a role in the same paygrade. I was told this time that I didn't communicate enough with my boss as the reason for not getting the second position. He says he doesn't know what I am ever working on, but we meet for an hour each Wednesday and i brief him on my training and I let him know what I have going on in my area. Other facts are: There are 23 managers in my facility 19 white, 4 black. 200 employees outside of management, probably 70-80% black, 10-12% asian and hispanic, and less than 10% white. The majority of white employees are in office jobs, or team lead roles. There is also an external management development program for recent college graduates but it recruits at predominantly white universities and rarely accepts black students into the program. 47 people have been accepted into the program in 7 years(internal and external) and only 1 from the external program was black and 3 internal including 2 this year. The company was lost a discrimination case filed in 1998 in CA, in which 8 black employees were discriminated in pretty much the same way. They had the worse jobs and not promoted. The whites from the management development program usually get promoted in less than 2 years. They start off in my current pay grade and in less than 2 years become managers of the blacks who have been in management long before they were in colege and sometimes high school. Yet, i need more development? What would be the best way to address this if there is anything that can be done? Am I blowing things out of proportion or does anyone else believe there is an issue(s)?

Tax exemption in divorce case

In my custody order it states that the noncustodial parent must deliver form 8332, reguired by the internal revenue service, to the custodial parent within 30 days of the end of the year for which the tax exemption is to be claimed. And that the custodial parent must sign and return form 8332 within 10 days of presentment. Does within 30 days of the end of the year mean anytime between Dec 1 and Dec 31 or does it mean by Dec 1?

We separated about 18 months ago and my son spends weekdays with me /his dads weekends .While there is no possability of reuniting neither if us moved forward and filed divorce papers. We agreed that he would be responsible for all major living expenses and in return I would not want to return to Australia with our son. This worked well until recently when he out of know where informed me that he would be drastically cutting financial support and filing for bankruptcy.I am his 3rd wife and have a young son with him but I was told his second wife would still be receiving her substancial monthly check due to a binding divorce agreement they had..Naturally without support i would like to return home with my son.My question is ....what kind of attorney do I need?
daughter violated by male police officers

my daughter was at her boyfriend's house taking a shower, when several male police officers entered the house with a search warrant. they walked right into her bathroom, opened the shower curtain, grabbed her naked out of the shower, forced her to lie down, and cuffed her hands behind her back.. are the police officers allowed to abuse a 19-year-old coed like this? or are there laws in place to protect her privacy and dignity? she was never arrested by the way, and had done nothing wrong.
