personal injury, sexual assault in CA, civil liability after conviction, civil suit for damages

Have been having difficulty finding a lawyer who specializes in civil suits after criminal proceedings in a sexual assault case. The defendant pled guilty to two felony counts of false imprisonment in a last-minute deal with the district attorney and has been ordered to pay restitution to the victim. Of course, the restitution amount nowhere near covers the trauma and significant impact his actions have had on his victim. The d.a. advised her of the rights to civil proceedings. Can someone shed some light on what type of attorney handles this type of case? Are there any resources available for assistance?

TX tort law, libel slander, restraining order, process to stop lies

I had a question posted on your site about slander and lo and behold another person involved in my lawsuit blasted me in an answer. It was objectionable and removed. This person continues to lie about me, always commenting about me not being mentally stable, always says there are criminal charges pending against me, and said I lied in a complaint I made against her to the state of Texas about her license. She rambles on and on with lies, she now claims I threatened a Judge. She is not professional and had to be removed from another web site for her objectionable language. How can I protect myself against her continued lies and attacks? I can prove she is lying on every point she attemps to make. Would a restraining order prevent her from writing lies? I have had to contact the law firm she says she is an investigator for in an attempt to stop her. I am so disgusted with her behavior.

PA foreclosure law, chapter 7 bankruptcy, secured creditor's rights

After discharge of a Chapter 7 bankruptcy in Pennsylvania, a secure creditor (HELOC) filed foreclosure. I answered with a counterclaim. Subsequently, bank filed motion for summary judgement. I opposed and Plaintiff prevailed. My opposition arose from Plaintiff's prior refusal to remove an extraneous lien not associated with the debt that prevented me from obtaining a new mortgage. Prior to filing foreclosure, I was in negotiation with the bank to cure the debt but immediately after removing their lien, they filed foreclosure. Agents of the bank lied to me continually during the negotiation process. The Judge barely listened to my arguement.
I have acted ProSe to date.
Does the summary judgment dismiss my counterclaim or am I free to pursue it?
Can I file a stay to pursue my counterclaim?
Do I have grounds for an appeal of the Summary Judgment?
What attorney qualifications would best suit this litigation?

In a separation agreement when a employee is fired, is it customary in the state of California to have a clause that says you waive and relingquish all rights and benefits under California Civil Code Section 1542? Would it be out of the question to ask the employer to make that a mutual (both company and employee) waiver?
