Virginia Man Arrested After Naked Breakfast

A Virginia resident has been charged with indecent exposure after a passing pedestrian saw the naked man making coffee through his kitchen window.

Eric Williamson, a 29-year-old commercial driver, was arrested by Fairfax County Police officers Monday morning after an unidentified woman reported the man's visible nudity, Fox 5 reports. The woman was walking past Williamson's house at 5:30 a.m., accompanied by a 7-year-old boy.

Officer Bud Walker told the news source that responding policemen consulted with Virginia's Attorney's Office before arresting the man, alleging that he intended to be seen naked by the public.

Williams, a father of a 5-year-old girl, commented, "Yes, I wasn't wearing any clothes but I was alone, in my own home and just got out of bed. It was dark and I had no idea anyone was outside looking in at me."

According to the man's lawyer, police and state officials must prove that Williamson knew others were present when he showed his naked body.

The misdemeanor charge in Virginia carries a maximum of one year in jail and a $2,000 fine.
