Brandy Norwood, who won a Grammy for the song The Boy is Mine, settled with the two children whose mother died in the pop singer's 2006 car accident.

According to TMZ.com, court papers filed today in Los Angeles County Superior Court state the two children of Awatef Aboudihaj will receive $300,000 each from the singer/actress.

However, Awaref's husband Marouane Hdidou has not reportedly settled with Norwood since rejecting the $1.2 million settlement that was offered in February.

Los Angeles police did not charged Norwood with any crime associated with the car accident and had stated there was "insufficient evidence" that the singer had committed vehicular manslaughter.

In December 2006, Norwood's Land Rover reportedly struck another vehicle on the 405 freeway in Los Angeles, which subsequently caused a four-car pileup.

"It was a situation that changed my life forever," Norwood said in the past about the accident.

Recently, it was reported that the singer signed a new management deal with rapper Jay-Z's Roc Nation label and has started work on a sixth album for Epic. The album is expected to be released this fall.ADNFCR-1918-ID-19199496-ADNFCR
