Reeves Cleared of Injuring Paparazzo

Actor Keanu Reeves has been cleared of injuring a photographer who had launched a lawsuit against him.

Alison Silva claimed that Reeves had struck him with his Porsche in 2007, causing him to fall to the ground and injure his wrist.

Mr. Silva lodged a claim for $711,974 in damages and lost earnings, but jurors yesterday (November 4) unanimously rejected the case.

The court heard that the injury appeared to be an old fracture and that Mr. Silva had given contradictory statements.

He had also been pictured climbing over a wall in pursuit of Britney Spears while supposedly injured.

Speaking outside the courtroom, Mr. Silva said: "I wish Keanu is happy in his life. I have nothing against Keanu."

Reeves declined to comment on the case, but remained in the courtroom for the duration of the case, which lasted five days.

It was reported recently that British actress Sienna Miller is launching a lawsuit against photographers whom she claims have pursued her all over the world in a dangerous manner.
