Legal NewsReality Star Murder Suspect Found DeadMonday, August 24, 2009 at 08:08 AM A man who was the suspect in a murder case was reportedly found dead in Canada yesterday.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police confirmed that the body of Ryan Jenkins, a 31-year-old native of Canada, was found by an employee at a hotel in British Columbia. According to the New York Times, Sergeant Duncan Pound of the Mounted Police said that, "Preliminary evidence suggests that he took his own life." Authorities were looking for Jenkins who was the primary suspect in the murder of Las Vegas swimsuit model Jasmine Fiore. The model was also the suspect's former wife. Last week Fiore's body was found folded up in a suitcase, which was thrown into a Southern Californian dumpster. It was reported that Fiore's fingerprints and teeth had been removed in an effort to make the body unidentifiable. Orange County, California district attorney Tony Rackauckas told ABC News that Fiore was eventually identified through the serial number on her breast implants. Jenkins was a contestant on two VH1 reality shows: Megan Wants a Millionaire and I Love Money 3. Both shows have been cancelled because of the case, according to the Times. ![]() |
