Ontario Woman Fights for Child Support From Keanu Reeves

Legal documents have reportedly been filed against Hollywood actor Keanu Reeves ordering him to undergo a DNA test to determine if he owes an Ontario woman spousal and child support.

The claim comes from Karen Sala, 46, of Barrie, Ontario, who allegedly had a sexual relationship with Reeves before, during and after her marriage. According to the suit, she believes the actor fathered one of her four children who are now between the ages of 20 and 25.

Court documents show that Sala is seeking $3 million per month in spousal support, which is retroactive from November 2006. She is also seeking $150,000 per month in child support from June 1988.

Lorne Wolfson, the Matrix star's Toronto-based lawyer, said the accusations were unfounded and told the Canadian Press he expects the case to be dismissed.

"Mr Reeves' position is that the claims are totally frivolous, that he never had an intimate relationship with Ms Sala, that the children are not his children," Wolfson said in a press conference. "This case should be dismissed at the earliest opportunity."

Reeves was born in Lebanon and lived in Toronto in the 1980s prior to his film success with movies such as The Matrix trilogy and Speed.ADNFCR-1918-ID-19253954-ADNFCR
