LeAnn Rimes Denies Divorce Rumors

In its recent celebrity news section, In Touch magazine reported that country singer LeAnn Rimes told her husband, Dean Sheremet that she wanted a divorce, hoping to then marry Eddie Cibrian.

However, Rimes halted such rumors in their tracks as she has denied all allegations that she hopes to divorce Sheremet.

Media sources report that the star's public relations representative released a statement that seemed fairly blunt.

Rhett Usury told the press that "contrary to any tabloid rumors, LeAnn is not seeking a divorce."

Rimes appeared with Cibrian in the TV movie, Northern Lights. Both stars are married.

However, In Touch was not the first to accuse Rimes of being ready to divorce her husband for her acting partner.

Cibrian himself had to deny rumors that the pair was involved with one another or looking for a deeper relationship.

MSNBC reports that the actor released a statement that read "other than being friends and two actors who were romantically intertwined in a movie-for-television we filmed last fall, there is no truth to the reporting."
