A Hollywood actress who had memorable performances in such 90s films as Point Break and A League of Their Own was arrested on Saturday night on suspicion of a DUI, according to police.

Lori Petty, 45, was booked on a felony DUI charge after allegedly hitting a 14-year-old skateboarder in Venice, California. She was reportedly released on a $100,000 bail after spending approximately five hours in jail.

Police spokesman Bruce Borihanh told the Associated Press the unidentified skateboarder was treated for injuries at the scene.

According to People.com, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Police Department said the circumstances surrounding the car accident were unclear and that detectives were in the process of determining if a follow-up investigation would be necessary.

The actress' blood-alcohol level hasn't been released. Petty is scheduled to be arraigned on June 25.

Though Petty was a familiar face on film in the 1990s, most of her recent work has been on television with guest starring roles on shows such as House and Prison Break.ADNFCR-1918-ID-19197266-ADNFCR
