'30 Rock' Star Files for Divorce

An Emmy-nominated actor from the hit television show 30 Rock has reportedly filed for divorce from his wife of 23 years.

Tracy Morgan, who plays the character of Tracy Jordan on the show, filed the necessary paperwork in a Bronx Supreme Court last week.

According to the New York Daily News, some of the actor's acquaintances were not surprised by the now-legal split and said that Morgan and his wife, Sabina, had been reportedly separated for eight years.

"Basically they were divorced without the paperwork," one friend told the news provider. "It seems like he has had a different girlfriend every five months or so. In the past three years, I've met three girlfriends."

In January 2008, Sabina Morgan reportedly announced she was planning to file for divorce from Tracy Morgan, citing his drinking problem. However it was never clear whether or not Sabina went through with the filing.

Details of the case have been sealed by the court.

The couple has three sons together: Gitrid, 23, Malcolm, 21 and Tracy, Jr., 17.
