Anonymous Comment: That is good advise! I might add the obvious - do not lie to law enforcement - remain silent.

Anonymous Comment: Not only great advise. I would consider it a public service. Everyone should read this.....because it can and does happen. I grew up in a small town, and use to blindly trust the police as never being capable of error.

Believe me......blind trust of the police is dumb. They are human beings, NOT super men and women incapable of error, bias, prejudice, or of becoming angry, being vendictive, or any of the ugly stuff that any average person is capable of under the right circumstances.

rowman2222’s Comment: These are all very valid but they appear to be written by someone who believes that police do not bend the law. Nothing could be further from the truth. Don't let the police in your home? Once you open that door they might just come in anyway and becasue there are two of them and one of you, they will claim you invited them in. So telling people not to invite the police into your home is a little like saying that the best way to stop a buldozer from leveling a building is to stand in front of it. The driver might stop, but he might not and you will lose the argument. The best thing to do is keep the dooor closed and find out what they want.
