MichaelDuPont’s Comment: I only saw four California appellate court cases this lawyer was involved with recently and he wasn't doing very good, so I question his disrespecting the very hardworking Massachusetts Defenders Committee assigned (now CPCS) counsel who, by the way, have the best winning appellate record anywhere including so-called big-name big-money law forms that do appeals. Check out a private lawyers record with the appeals court before hiring a bum who can't win criminal appeals and, therefore, probably can't win jury trials either due to his or her lack of technical legal knowledge. MiaKen’s Comment: Thanks, this is really helpful information. My cousin is facing charges and my uncle didn't want to hire criminal lawyers in Markham but I will have him read this article and I think it will change his mind.
