c’s Comment: I have been offered this type of service by the bank and turned it down. These programs are paid by the plaintiff therefore they are one sided. They are a waste of time and resolve nothing.
When bank attempting foreclosure is in a judicial state and file intentional fraudulent affidavits, lack original notes + mortgage, plus have a well known reputation for breaking the laws they make, then defendant would be wise NOT 2 NEGOTIATE with them or even SPEAK to them. One of the few solutions to this situation would be a "DISMISSAL with/ PREJUDICE also heavy principal reduction for their actions would probably work as well. BANKS ARE NOT ABOVE THE LAW AS THEY THINK THEY ARE.
