yayajune28’s Comment: my wifes cousin is suing us for $20,000 because she said we made an oral agreement with her 3 1/2 years ago.she did pull equity from her home to help wy wifes mother out her auntie, she has a check made out to wifes mothers LAWYER no other name on check. we filed a demur and was tentatively granted because of the statue of limitations civil code procedure 338-339 and civil code procedure 430.10(e) plaintiffs leave to amend was granted. my wife and i didnt do anything from this point because we never heard anything else. until 2 months later we get sanctioned for not showing up at a hearing. we thought it was over. wer now in trial and so far its all here say of what she has said. i cant believe with the laws on our side and no evidence were here going to trial.
