Trick Question #1: How much money are you seeking to recover in the case?

This is always a loaded question. The following are good replies. “We hired an expert to answer that question. I’d have to see her report”; • “Whatever a jury thinks is fair”; • “I can’t put a dollar value on the suffering I’ve been through”; and • “I’ve only ever talked about that with my lawyer.”

Trick Question #2: If you were offered your job back today, would you go back to work?

"You bet!" “I’m seeking reinstatement in the case.”

Trick Question 3: Exactly which individuals do you believe discriminated against you and when?

“Yes. Ms. B was an actor in a discriminatory scenario, even though she meant well”; “The whole sequence of events would have been different if I had been (a man, a different religion, etc.).”
