This guide describes what to bring with you if you are going to meet with an employment attorney.
1
Bring A Pay Stub
If your employer or former employer issued paper paychecks and you have one, of if you have a stub, bring it. If your employer paid you by direct deposit, bring a print-out if possible. If you don't have a pay stub that is okay.
2
Bring Relevant Paperwork
This may include an offer letter, performance review, termination letter, records from a doctor, and any other documents you feel are relevant to your situation. If you don't have relevant paperwork that is okay.
3
Bring Questions
Perhaps you asked all the questions that you wanted to ask on the phone - that is okay. But if you have questions ask them.
