Come prepared to your bankruptcy 341 meeting of creditors, or you will not be able to complete your debtor's examination.

Bring proof of social security number.
The easiest way to do this is to bring your social security card. If you don't have one, try to get it replaced. If you can't do that, bring some other proof of your social security number such as your W2s, passport, etc.

Send your last year's tax return to the trustee
Your attorney is supposed to do this for you at least one week in advance of the 341 hearing. But sometimes 1) attorneys forget, or 2) the trustee loses the tax returns. To prevent a stressful meltdown, bring an extra copy with you.

Get your pre and post petition credit counseling completed
You don't technically have to have the post petition counseling done at the time of the 341, but it saves yet another thing that could go wrong. This is a simple step that can be completed online or over the phone, so get it done ASAP.
