Traffic violations in Pennsylvania

Posted by attorney Ellis Klein

If you are found guilty of certain traffic offenses, your license could be suspended, points could be assessed and your insurance premiums may increase as a result of the moving violation. Please note that the police and the courts are not required to advise you about points or potential suspension of your driver’s license. If you have not already done so, you should follow the instructions on the back of the ticket and enter a plea of “Not Guilty." You will then receive a Court notice for your court hearing in District Court.

If you have received a traffic citation, you should contact a local, experienced defense attorney to assist you.
