EmailShare with:TweetMany people have been asking lately about the TSA's requirement that all passengers show some form of photo identification when they pass through initial security and then before passing through security. Of particular concern, is the TSA's persistent refusal to release the text of the law that it uses to justify that requirement. This issue bears further investigation at a federal level.
While it is vastly important to check everyone's identification to make certain it is legitimate and accurate, there should either be an appropriate law supporting it, or it should not be done in the fashion it is presently done. This would appear to take legislation by the Congress to correct.
