You may not realize it, but it's a fact of life that insurance companies do surveillance in some Workers' Compensation cases. They may also check your Facebook, Twitter or other social media accounts.

Surveillance is done for a couple of reasons. The insurance company may want to see whether you are working or how active you are given your injury. Remember that your doctor has given you work restrictions and that you should follow the doctor's instructions.
