My latest blog entry talks about how mediators from Europe and the USA feel when they use the transformative approach. It turns out the feel calmer yet more inspired. They're calmed by their awareness that the parties are the ones who need to make any changes that are going to happen - and they're inspired by the fact that the parties DO make those changes. Several of the mediators describe how, in the past, they've taken too much reponsibility, which allows the parties to take less responsibility.
