Beware of ads promising the ability to earn thousands of dollars each month by running Internet searches on prominent search engines and filling out forms right from your home computer. These scam offers are not being made by familiar search engines such as Google, Dogpile, BeenVerified or others.

The truth is, these scammers are not connected with any well-known search engine at all. According to the Federal Trade Commission in the summer of 2010, these scammers simply try to trick you into giving over credit card or banking information. If you pay even a small fee online, the scammers use your financial information to charge recurring fees over and over and over.
