In order to determine whether the will is valid and legally enforceable, it is necessary to have an attorney carefully review the will to determine whether the basic legal requirements were met.

Investigate the Circumstances
Even if the will meets the basic legal requirements to be valid, you may be able to set aside the will if the person lacked testamentary capacity (was of unsound mind), was subjected to undue influence (was pressured into signing the will) or was otherwise taken advantage of.
