You may need to set your hearing for another day if:
You could not serve your temporary restraining order; or the other party or their attorney asked for continuance of the hearing
Fill out form
Complete form DV-125 named reissue temporary restraining order.
File the form with the clerk of the court
Proceed with filing the form with the clerk and request a new date. Please check local rules for your county. You will file the form with the clerk and the clerk will make 5 copies for you. The documents must be stamped "filed"
Serve the other party
Once you have a filed copy from the clerk, attach forms DV-100 and DV-110 to the filed copy and serve the restrained person asap. The clerk should send your filed papers to law enforcement CLETS for you (ask if you have questions).
Attend the court hearing
Bring all documents with you to court. Bring all evidence to court of the abuse and witnesses if any. Seek legal advice if you need help.
