Do not just pay the ticket.
By just paying the ticket you will be adjudged guilty and points will be accessed against your record. Points can lead to suspensions and suspensions can lead to criminal charges and revocations.

Try to keep the points off.
You can do this by electing a driving school. If you do this no points will be accessed against you. However, if you decide to do this you must contact the clerk of court first and make the election with them. Or you can set your case for a hearing. You can do this on your own or by hiring an attorney. If you do it on your own make sure to attend the hearing.
