Review the report without reading the FSTsSee what the case looks like without the FSTs being discussed. Even defense attorneys are frequently misled by tests they know are not scientific. 2
Write down all the things your client did rightYou need to be trained in what officers are looking for. Then, knowing the things your client did right becomes much easier, as little of it will be provided in the report. 3
Know your client, apply, and resolveApply the detailed history of your client to the observations and indications of sobriety. Negotiate the case and be prepared to go to trial when you think the state is not making a fair and reasonable offer. |
