The arrest report will contain vital evidence or information regarding the Officer's opinions and what he observed. It will state why you were stopped, the field sobriety tests, and any statements you may have made regarding drinking or where you had been that evening. This report is sworn under oath and notarized by the Magistrate and serves as an affidavit.
This will be the most credible piece of evidence. The video never lies and serves to confirm or deny the Officer's arrest report. Most Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Officers have video in the cars but sometimes there may be issues regarding the equipment working. Currently there is no law in North Carolina which guarantees a DWI arrest to have video evidence.
