There are certain laws which are necessary to address situations where crowds are present and to maintain a certain peace, tranquility and dignity in pulic.The offense of disorderly conduct (Michigan Compiled Law 750.168) covers a wide range of conduct which may be charged and punished in Michigan. There can be a charge of disorderly conduct for the following: vagrancy, prostitution, window peeping, begging in public, loitering where illegal activities occur, causing a public disturbance, jostling people unnecessarily in public, engaging in an illegal business, making lewd gestures, urinating in public, public intoxication.
