Whenever anyone is considering joining a class action lawsuit, you should keep three things in mind.
The lawyers get the lion's share of the settlement, and the clients usually end up with pennies on the dollar.
You have lost decision-making control as the client.
If the class action lawyer does a bad job, everyone in the class suffers.
It is always best to retain your own lawyer instead of joining in on a class action. A lawyer may represent numerous people individually, and does not have to lump them all into a class.
